Aku Bangga dengan Bahasa Aku....Kau??

assalamualaikum...

last week, ade la ter-tgk satu programme ni kt tv.. its called Pertandingan Nyanyian Lagu Melayu Antarabangsa 2011.. it was actually a singing competition.. but.. the most interesting fact is, all the participants are non - Malay singing Malay songs!!! 

they cant speak malay fluently or i can say that they dont understand malay language but they can sing very well.. of course their pronunciation werent so good but they did well!!

seriously i had so much fun watching them.. they are from Zimbabwe, Bangladesh or India ( confused actually..), Thailand,  Cambodia, Yemen and Indonesia.. they are students from our local universities..  well, frankly speaking, to see Indonesians singing Malay songs are not so - make-me-woww- as our language and theirs are quite similar.. and they didnt have so much trouble to sing.. 

but when all those African, Arab, Thais, Cambodian sang in our language, i feel so proud! i mean, if dyorg blh buat, dyorg try bersungguh-sungguh belajar bahasa kita, kenapa org kita sendiri rasa malu, segan nk cakap Melayu??? ini bahasa kita, jadi kita kene la bangga dgn bahasa kite! konon bahasa Melayu ni low-class lahh, ape lahh... ok! full stop... xnk ckp pnjang...
